About The Artist
Andrew Binder is an artist based in New York City. His work is created mainly through digital media and is a mixture of photography, analog and digital illustration/painting and some 3D rendering. Through his work Andrew seeks to create imagery that conveys mood, metaphor and emotion, speaking to the subconscious and allowing the imagination of the viewer to interpret meaning.
His work is inspired by many sources including world history (particularly that of antiquity and the medieval era), mythology, world religions, atheism, iconography, symbolism, expressionism, existentialism, science-fiction, fantasy, man's inhumanity to man and the nature of the human condition.
